REPEALING AN UNAUTHORIZED RULE
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources proposes the following permanent rule to repeal NR 548, relating to waste reduction and recycling demonstration grants. |

Statutory authority for ch. NR 548, Wis. Adm. Code, was repealed by 2011 Wis. Act 32. 4. Related Statutes or Rules:
Sections 287.23 and 287.24, Stats., authorize financial assistance for recycling responsible units and recycling consolidation grants. Chapter NR 542 establishes rules under s. 287.23, Stats., for the implementation and administration of a grant program for planning, constructing or operating recycling programs. 5. Plain Language Analysis:
Chapter NR 548, Wis. Adm. Code, established rules under s. 287.25, Stats., for the implementation and administration of a grant program to fund innovative solid waste reduction and recycling demonstration projects. Between 1991 and 2009, the waste reduction and recycling demonstration grants program provided cost-share grants to municipalities, counties, schools, other public entities, businesses, and nonprofit organizations for projects that implemented innovative waste reduction and recycling activities.
